Installation and Removal
IPI manufacture a specialised inflatable packer that has external steel grip strips that provide very high frictional gripping capacity.
This product is called a “Grab Packer” and is primarily used for the installation or removal of gravel packed, water well screens.
The frictional grip offers very high lifting capacity combined with a relatively gentle gripping action. It is ideal for running and fishing of delicate components such as water well screens, fibreglass liner or similar.
